ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a natural supplement called Panax Ginseng C.A. Mey Extract on liver function in adults who have certain liver conditions. The research will last for 8 weeks and will involve people who have mild liver issues, specifically looking at those whose liver enzyme levels are elevated but not excessively high.
To participate, individuals must be adults between the ages of 18 and 75 who meet specific health criteria, such as having liver enzyme levels that are slightly elevated but within a certain range. However, those with more serious liver or kidney problems, diabetes, a history of certain diseases, or who have taken specific medications recently are not eligible to join. Participants will receive either the ginseng extract or a placebo (a non-active treatment) without knowing which one they are getting. This trial is currently looking for volunteers, and those who join can contribute to understanding how this herbal supplement might help improve liver health.
