ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a web-based application can help patients who need a kidney or liver transplant find potential living donors through social media. The goal is to make it easier for patients on the transplant waiting list to share their stories and connect with people who might be interested in becoming a donor. By using social media, the hope is to reach more people and increase the chances of finding a suitable living donor.
To be eligible for this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and currently on the waiting list for either a kidney or liver transplant at a participating medical center. Unfortunately, if you are under 18, not on a transplant waiting list, or on a waiting list for multiple organs, you will not be able to participate. If you join the trial, you can expect to use the application to share your situation and connect with potential donors who can learn more about the donation process. This study could help improve the way patients find living donors, making the transplant process smoother and more effective.
