ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is testing a new magnetic device designed to help manage a condition called blepharoptosis, which is when one eyelid droops lower than the other. The goal of the study is to see how well this device works and whether it is safe for patients. Researchers will be looking at things like how much the eyelid can be lifted, if the device causes any blurry vision or discomfort, and if it leads to any skin irritation around the eye.
To participate in the trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have drooping of only one eyelid. However, if you have had previous surgery on your eyelid or have certain mental health conditions that affect your ability to follow instructions, you won't be eligible. While the trial is currently active, it's not accepting new participants at this time. If you do participate, you can expect to be closely monitored for any changes or side effects while using the device.
