ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a bicycle exercise program combined with a lifestyle change plan for people who have recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and are not currently on any diabetes medications. The goal is to see if this approach can help improve their health over a period of three months. They are looking for participants who are at least 18 years old, have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in the last two years, and have a specific level of sugar in their blood (HbA1c of 7.5% or higher).
To be eligible, participants must be able to safely ride a stationary bicycle for 30 minutes and should not have serious health issues that would make exercise unsafe. Those who have already received similar lifestyle coaching or are very active (exercising more than five times a week) will not be included. If you join the trial, you can expect to engage in regular exercise and receive support for making healthier lifestyle choices. This study is currently recruiting participants, so if you or someone you know fits the criteria, it could be a great opportunity to improve health and manage diabetes effectively.
