ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying sensory symptoms in people with Tourette syndrome, a condition that causes repeated movements or sounds known as tics. Researchers want to learn more about the different feelings and experiences that often accompany Tourette syndrome, such as urges to move (called premonitory urges), anxiety, and depression. To do this, they will ask participants to fill out a series of questionnaires about their symptoms and how these affect their quality of life. This will happen once a year.
To be eligible for the study, participants must be at least 18 years old and have a diagnosis of Tourette syndrome or related tic disorders. They should also be able to complete the questionnaires in English on their own. However, individuals with certain serious mental health issues or significant neurological disorders will not be included. If you or someone you know fits these criteria, this trial could be a valuable opportunity to contribute to understanding Tourette syndrome and its associated symptoms.
