ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how well patients recover after surgery for anal fistulas, which are abnormal connections that can form around the anus and often cause pain and infection. The main goal is to understand how different types of fistulas and various surgical methods affect healing and the ability to control bowel movements after surgery. Since treating certain types of fistulas can be quite complex and may require multiple surgeries, this study aims to gather information that can help improve future treatment.

To participate in this trial, you need to be over 18 years old and have an anal fistula that requires surgical treatment. Unfortunately, if you have other skin infections without a fistula, you wouldn't be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to be closely monitored by a skilled medical team who will evaluate your recovery and any impact on your health following the surgery. Your participation may contribute valuable insights that could help others facing similar issues in the future.
