ClinConnect Summary
The China Inherited Ventricular Arrhythmias Registry is a clinical trial that aims to better understand certain heart conditions known as inherited ventricular arrhythmias. These include conditions like Brugada syndrome and Long QT syndrome, which can cause irregular heartbeats that may lead to serious health issues. The study will involve around 500 participants from 10 different hospitals in China. Researchers will look at medical records and collect blood samples to find important genes and risk factors related to these conditions. Participants will be followed up every six months to monitor their health.
To be eligible for this trial, individuals must have been diagnosed with one of the specific conditions mentioned, such as Brugada syndrome or Long QT syndrome. However, those who are currently participating in other clinical trials cannot join this study. If you or someone you know has one of these heart conditions, this trial could help advance our understanding of these disorders and improve future treatments.
