ClinConnect Summary
The Positive Parenting Program in Foster Care study is looking at a special training program called Child Adult Relationship Enhancement in Primary Care, or PriCARE. This program aims to help foster caregivers develop better parenting skills and increase their understanding and empathy towards the children they care for. The study is currently recruiting participants who are foster parents of children aged 18 months to 6 years and are 18 years or older. It's important that these caregivers speak English and have not participated in similar training before.
If you decide to take part in this study, you will be involved in learning strategies that could help improve your relationship with the child you are fostering. This program is designed to support you in creating a positive and nurturing environment for your child. The goal is to better understand how effective the PriCARE program is in helping foster caregivers like you. If you meet the criteria and are interested, joining this study could be a great opportunity to enhance your parenting skills while contributing to important research.
