ClinConnect Summary
The Homburg Keratoconus Center (HKC) is conducting a study to better understand keratoconus, a condition that affects the shape and strength of the cornea, which is the clear front part of the eye. This research involves looking at data from over 2,000 keratoconus patients to learn how the condition starts and changes over time. By analyzing various characteristics of keratoconus, the researchers hope to gain insights that could improve diagnosis and treatment.
If you have been diagnosed with keratoconus and are receiving care at the ophthalmology department at Saarland University Medical Center in Homburg, Germany, you may be eligible to participate in this study. The trial is currently recruiting participants of all ages and genders, but it is specifically looking for individuals with keratoconus. If you join the study, you can expect to provide information about your condition and possibly undergo some tests.
