ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the outcomes of a surgical procedure called septorhinoplasty, which is done to improve both the appearance of the nose and to relieve nasal obstruction. Researchers want to see how this surgery affects patients by measuring their experiences before and after the procedure using various questionnaires that focus on nasal function, aesthetic satisfaction, and quality of life. They will also conduct some functional tests to assess breathing improvements.
To participate in this study, individuals must be at least 18 years old and have been experiencing nasal obstruction for at least a year due to identifiable issues, such as a deviated septum or enlarged nasal turbinates. Unfortunately, those with a recent nasal fracture, recent nasal surgery, or those unable to answer questions due to mental or physical challenges will not be eligible. Participants can expect to share their experiences through surveys and tests, helping researchers understand the benefits and challenges of septorhinoplasty for patients like them. This study is currently recruiting participants of all genders.
