A post-operative delirium is defined as attentional, consciousness and perceptual deficit occurring after and as a consequence of an operation. These deficits are acute and severe, but usually reversible.   • male or female patients attending the premedication outpatient clinic Charité University Medicine, CVK, Berlin, Germany in order to attend a (non-cardiac) elective surgery
  • 18 years or older
  • Exclusion Criteria:
  • Refusal by the patient
