ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how to improve health literacy, which means understanding health information, among Arab women in East Jerusalem. The study has two parts. First, researchers will hold group discussions to find out what information and support these women need regarding their health, particularly about heart diseases. In the second part, they will provide tailored workshops based on what they learned in the discussions. These workshops aim to help women communicate better with their doctors and increase their knowledge about cardiovascular diseases.
To participate in this trial, women aged 18 to 85 who speak Arabic and are part of local women's groups can join. Participants can expect to attend four interactive sessions designed to meet their needs and preferences. Before and three months after the workshops, they will fill out questionnaires to see how much their communication skills and knowledge of heart health have improved. This trial is a great opportunity for women in the community to gain valuable information that can help them take charge of their health.
