ClinConnect Summary
The ODIN-Report study is a clinical trial that aims to see if using special technology called machine learning can help doctors predict and prevent serious complications in patients right after surgery. The study will look at important issues such as whether patients need to go to the intensive care unit (ICU), experience kidney problems, or stay longer in the hospital.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be between the ages of 65 and 74 and already be part of another study called the TECTONICS Study. They also need to have completed a pre-surgery assessment and be considered at higher risk for complications based on historical patient data. If you decide to participate, you can expect to receive notifications that may help your healthcare team provide better care after your surgery. This study is not yet recruiting participants, so there may be more information coming soon.
