ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is focused on studying inherited eye conditions known as retina dystrophies, including retinitis pigmentosa and cone dystrophy. The goal is to understand how these conditions are related to specific gene changes (genotypes) and to learn more about how these traits are passed down in families. By looking at the genetic information of participants, researchers hope to gain insights that could lead to better diagnosis and treatment options for people with these eye conditions.

If you or a family member has been diagnosed with an inherited retina dystrophy, you might be eligible to participate in this study if you are at least 14 years old and can attend yearly visits for testing. Participants will undergo various tests to help researchers gather important data about their condition. It’s important to note that you should be willing to commit to these annual visits to be part of the trial. This study is currently looking for participants of all genders, and your involvement could contribute to significant advancements in understanding and treating these eye disorders.
