ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called the Pulmonary Nodule Cohort, is focused on studying small spots in the lungs known as pulmonary nodules, which can sometimes be a sign of lung cancer. The goal of the study is to learn more about the characteristics of these nodules and to identify certain biological markers that could help in detecting lung cancer earlier and more accurately.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be at least 18 years old and have pulmonary nodules that meet specific criteria, such as being classified as potentially concerning based on certain imaging guidelines or having a significant risk of lung cancer based on a risk model. However, individuals who have already been diagnosed with lung cancer cannot participate. While the trial is not yet recruiting participants, once it begins, those who take part can expect to contribute to important research that may improve lung cancer detection and treatment for others in the future.
