ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how families adjust when a child is diagnosed with a chronic illness. The researchers want to create and test a new tool that can help identify which parents might struggle more during this difficult time. By understanding these challenges early on, the goal is to provide better support to families as they deal with their child's ongoing health care needs.
To participate in this study, parents must have a child who is receiving treatment for a chronic illness, such as cancer, diabetes, or other serious health conditions, and they should be able to speak Italian. Participants will be asked to consent to join the study and will complete assessments to help develop this new tool. The trial is currently recruiting, and all parents, regardless of gender, are welcome to participate. This study aims to improve not only the well-being of the children but also to support their families during challenging times.
