ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the experiences of adult survivors of childhood cancer, particularly focusing on the symptoms they may face long after their treatment has ended. Researchers want to develop and validate a new tool called the Patient-Reported Outcomes version of the Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (PRO-CTCAE-SCC). This tool will help identify and measure the symptoms these survivors experience, which can impact their quality of life and overall health. By understanding these symptoms better, the aim is to improve care and support for these individuals.

To be eligible for this study, participants need to be at least 16 years old and should have been diagnosed with pediatric cancer at least five years ago. They must also not be currently receiving cancer treatment. Participants will take part in surveys to share their symptoms and experiences. It’s important to note that individuals with severe cognitive impairments or those who cannot communicate in English will not be included in this study. By joining this trial, participants will help improve the understanding of long-term effects of childhood cancer, which can lead to better care for future survivors.
