ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying urinary problems in patients who have had a stroke, whether it was caused by a blockage (ischemic) or bleeding (hemorrhagic). The researchers want to compare patients who have these urinary issues with those who do not, and they will look at how well treatments work for those with urinary disorders. The goal is to better understand how to help stroke patients manage these common problems during their recovery.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be in the subacute phase after having a stroke and should have been transferred directly from a hospital to a specialized rehabilitation facility. However, those who had urinary issues before the stroke, had prior brain injuries, or have certain other medical conditions may not qualify. If you or a loved one are considering participating, you can expect to be part of a study that aims to improve care for stroke patients dealing with urinary challenges, and you will be closely monitored throughout the process.
