ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a new way to help elderly patients recover from strokes using advanced robotic technology. The aim is to create a better rehabilitation plan that can support these patients in regaining their abilities after a stroke, whether it was caused by a blockage (ischemic) or bleeding (hemorrhagic). The study is currently looking for participants who are 18 years or older and have had a stroke within the last three months, as long as they can stand for at least one minute and understand instructions.
If you or a loved one are interested in joining, it’s important to know that participants must be able to give consent and have certain abilities to ensure they can safely use the robotic device. Those with severe movement or cognitive issues, or other health problems that could interfere with the study, will not be eligible. Participants can expect to engage in rehabilitation sessions that use robotics to help improve their movement and recovery. This innovative approach could offer new hope for improving the quality of life for elderly stroke survivors.
