ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how patients feel after having surgery to remove tumors or other growths from the base of the skull using a special technique called endonasal endoscopic surgery. The study will follow patients for two years after their surgery to see how their quality of life changes over time. Quality of life refers to how well people are doing in their everyday lives, including their physical and mental well-being.
To participate in this study, patients need to be at least 18 years old and scheduled for this type of surgery. It's important that they can understand the study and agree to participate. However, people who are in prison, do not speak English, or are not expected to live for two years after the surgery cannot take part. Participants will fill out forms and attend follow-up visits to help researchers gather information about their recovery and overall well-being after the surgery. This study aims to better understand the long-term effects of this surgical approach on patients' lives.
