ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a treatment called foam sclerotherapy, which is being tested for patients with large kidney or liver cysts caused by conditions known as autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) and autosomal dominant polycystic liver disease (ADPLD). The goal of the study is to see how this treatment affects patients' quality of life and the size of their cysts over a period of up to 12 months.
To be eligible for the trial, participants should be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with either ADPKD or ADPLD. They should also have 1 to 3 large cysts that are causing discomfort. However, those with certain conditions, such as having too many large cysts or those who are pregnant, cannot participate. If you join the study, you can expect to receive the foam sclerotherapy treatment and will need to attend follow-up appointments to track your progress over the year. This study is actively recruiting participants, and it aims to provide valuable information that could help improve treatment for these conditions in the future.
