Hpv Self Sampling, Cervical Cancer Screening In Older Women

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at whether it’s a good idea to offer cervical cancer screening to women aged 65 to 69 in Denmark. The researchers want to see if a method called HPV self-sampling, where women collect their own samples for testing, is a suitable option for this age group. Currently, the screening program does not include these women, and the study aims to understand the impact of including them.

To participate in this trial, women need to be between 65 and 69 years old, live in Denmark, and should not have had a cervical screening or cytology test in the last five years. Unfortunately, women who have had a hysterectomy or have moved in or out of Denmark in the past year cannot take part. If you join the study, you will have the chance to learn more about cervical cancer screening and how self-sampling might work for you. This trial is currently recruiting participants who meet the eligibility criteria.
