ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating the potential heart health benefits of eating wild rice. Over the course of 28 days, 24 healthy adults (both men and women aged 20 to 40) will eat about 30 grams of wild rice every day. Researchers will measure important heart health factors before and after the study to see if eating wild rice has a positive effect on cardiovascular health.
To participate in this trial, you need to be a healthy adult between 20 and 40 years old, and you cannot be pregnant, breastfeeding, a smoker, or have a body mass index (BMI) over 30. Additionally, you should not be taking any medications for heart disease, diabetes, or cancer. If you qualify and choose to join, you'll be contributing to important research that could help improve heart health through diet!
