ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to help children and young adults who have lost teeth. The researchers want to see if using 3D-printed copies of teeth can make it easier and more effective to transplant real teeth. This method could be particularly helpful for those who have a specific type of tooth that is still developing, which means the tooth has an open root.
To be part of this study, participants need to need a tooth transplant and have a suitable tooth available. However, those with certain facial conditions, chronic facial pain, or allergies to the materials used in the 3D replicas cannot join. If eligible, participants can expect to have their dental needs addressed in a new way that might improve outcomes for tooth transplantation. The trial is currently recruiting, which means they are looking for volunteers to take part in this exciting research.
