ClinConnect Summary
The NutriQuébec study is looking at how the eating habits of people in Québec change over time in response to a new health policy aimed at improving nutrition and reducing health issues like heart disease and diabetes. Starting in 2016, the Québec government introduced a plan to encourage healthier lifestyles, and this study will help researchers measure the effects of that plan. Over the next three years, they aim to recruit 20,000 adults from around the province, especially targeting those from lower-income backgrounds.
If you're an adult living in Québec, can read French or English, and have internet access, you may be eligible to participate. As a participant, you'll complete a series of online questionnaires each year, sharing information about your eating habits, physical activity, and overall health. This study will provide valuable insights into how public health initiatives can encourage healthier eating in the community, helping to shape better health policies in the future.
