ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a special group therapy aimed at helping people with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), a condition that causes extreme tiredness and other symptoms that make daily activities difficult. The goal is to develop a health psychology program that can improve the way patients cope with their illness and enhance their overall functioning. Researchers are looking for 70 to 80 participants who have been diagnosed with ME/CFS and are able to sit for two hours to complete tasks, as well as those who are willing to work together with others in the group.
To be eligible for this study, participants should be between the ages of 65 and 74 and motivated to learn and engage in the rehabilitation process. Some medical conditions, such as untreated major depression, sleep disorders, or autoimmune diseases, may prevent someone from joining the trial. Participants can expect to take part in discussions and activities that focus on health psychology, and they will undergo various evaluations to understand their health better. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to improve their quality of life while contributing to valuable research in this field.
