ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how well a smart wristband can measure chemical levels in sweat compared to blood in patients with chronic diseases or infections who are taking medications. The researchers want to see if they can accurately track important substances like sodium, potassium, and glucose through sweat. This could help doctors better monitor patients' health and understand how medications are working in the body.
To participate, individuals aged 65 to 74 who are scheduled to receive specific medications, such as cyclophosphamide or metformin, can join the study. Participants will need to provide samples of their blood, sweat, and saliva and allow researchers to review their medical records. However, people with a pilocarpine allergy or those who have difficulty understanding written English are not eligible. If you decide to take part, you will be helping researchers learn more about how to use wearable technology for health monitoring!
