ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new way to measure how well the auditory nerve works without needing to use invasive techniques. Researchers want to improve a method called electrocochleography, which records electrical signals from the inner ear. This is important because sometimes people can experience hearing loss that isn't obvious, known as "hidden hearing loss." By testing this method on healthy volunteers, the researchers hope to establish normal reference values that could help in the future.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should be between 18 and 55 years old, have normal hearing, and be able to understand French. They should not have any history of hearing issues, ear infections, or certain medical conditions. Those who join the study can expect to undergo non-invasive tests that will help researchers gather important information about how the auditory nerve works. It’s a chance to contribute to important research that may help others in the future.
