ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a treatment called the total contact soft cast for people who have diabetic foot ulcers. Diabetic foot ulcers are sores or wounds that can develop on the feet of individuals with diabetes, and the goal of this trial is to see how well this special cast helps heal these ulcers. Researchers want to find out if the cast is easy to use, safe, and comfortable for patients, as well as how well patients stick to the treatment plan.
To participate in this trial, you need to be an adult with a diabetic foot ulcer. However, there are some restrictions: you cannot join if you have allergies to certain materials used in the cast, if you cannot have your leg wrapped, or if you are unable to attend weekly check-ups. Participants can expect regular visits where their progress will be monitored, and they will receive care for their ulcer as part of the study. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and everyone is welcome regardless of gender.
