ClinConnect Summary
**Summary of the Clinical Trial: The Effect of Yoga Practice on Chronic Back Pain**
This clinical trial is exploring whether practicing yoga can help people who suffer from chronic low back pain. Chronic back pain is a long-lasting condition that can make everyday activities difficult and lead to lost work days. Many treatments exist, but they can be limited, and surgery is often only an option for a small group of patients. This study aims to see if yoga, which has been used for centuries for its health benefits, can provide relief for those dealing with this challenging condition.
To participate in the trial, individuals need to be between the ages of 65 and 74 and must have experienced chronic back pain for at least three months. However, those who require surgery for their back pain or have certain medical conditions that could make yoga unsafe will not be eligible. Participants will be asked to engage in yoga practices as part of the study and will help researchers understand how effective yoga can be for managing chronic back pain. If you or someone you know fits these criteria and is interested in exploring a non-surgical approach to managing back pain, this trial could be a valuable opportunity.
