ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how premature babies, specifically those born between 25 and 36 weeks of pregnancy, process sounds and distinguish between different voices and speech sounds. Researchers want to understand how the brain's response to these sounds develops from infancy to adulthood. To do this, they will use advanced techniques to measure brain activity while the babies listen to various sounds.
If you have a baby who is between 25 and 36 weeks old and was born prematurely, they may be eligible to participate in this study. The trial is currently recruiting participants of all genders. During the study, your baby will be exposed to different auditory stimuli, and their brain activity will be monitored in a safe and controlled environment. This research could help improve our understanding of how early experiences with sound shape brain development in premature babies.
