ClinConnect Summary
**Summary of the Pediatric Hepatic Tumors Clinical Trial**
This clinical trial is studying liver tumors in children and adolescents, focusing on collecting biological samples like tissue and blood from patients diagnosed with these tumors. The goal is to create a comprehensive database that helps researchers understand how to better diagnose and treat liver tumors in young patients. The trial is currently recruiting participants across France, and it welcomes children and teenagers who were diagnosed with a primary liver tumor after January 1, 1990, and received treatment in France.
To join the trial, participants must be 18 years old or younger at the time of their diagnosis, and their parents or guardians must provide consent for their data and biological samples to be used. Importantly, there are no specific exclusions, meaning most children with liver tumors may qualify. If you or your child participate, you will be contributing valuable information to help improve future care for children facing similar challenges.
