ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at a condition called cachexia, which is a serious weight loss and muscle wasting that can happen in people with certain types of cancer. Specifically, the study focuses on patients who have non-haematological cancers, which means cancers that do not affect the blood or bone marrow. The goal is to better understand the metabolic and immune changes that occur in these patients, helping to improve their care.

To participate in the study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have a confirmed diagnosis of a non-haematological cancer. It's important that you are not currently undergoing certain treatments, like chemotherapy or steroids, and that you do not have any active infections or significant health issues that could complicate your participation. If you decide to join, you will need to attend study visits, where researchers will monitor your health and collect information to help with their research. This study is currently recruiting participants, and everyone is welcome to apply, regardless of gender.
