ClinConnect Summary
The UCSF PANC Cyst Registry is a clinical trial that is studying pancreatic cysts, which are fluid-filled sacs in the pancreas that can sometimes lead to pancreatic cancer. While many of these cysts are harmless, there is concern that some may be early signs of cancer. This trial aims to gather valuable information about pancreatic cysts, including how common they are and how they change over time, to help doctors make better decisions about treatment and avoid unnecessary surgeries.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 30 years old and have been diagnosed with at least one pancreatic cyst. You should also be able to read and speak English, have access to a computer or mobile device, and be able to complete an electronic consent form. Participants will help researchers by sharing their experiences and information, which will contribute to a better understanding of pancreatic cysts and how to manage them safely. The study is currently recruiting participants, and anyone interested should check if they meet the eligibility criteria.
