ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how visual functions are affected in people with amblyopia (often called "lazy eye") and strabismus (a condition where the eyes do not properly align). The researchers want to understand the different ways these conditions impact vision at the start of the study, during treatment, and after treatment is completed. They will measure various aspects of vision, such as how well participants can see details and how well both eyes work together.
If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with amblyopia or has risk factors for developing it, you may be eligible to participate in this trial. The study is open to individuals aged 18 and older, and it welcomes participants of all genders. However, those with a history of neurological disorders cannot take part. Participants can expect to undergo a series of eye tests throughout the study to track changes in their vision. This research aims to improve understanding and treatment for those affected by these visual conditions.
