ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a new method called "virtual biopsy" to help doctors determine the grade of gliomas, which are tumors found in the brain. Traditionally, a biopsy—a procedure where a small piece of tissue is removed for testing—has been the only way to accurately assess the tumor's grade and decide on the best treatment. This trial uses advanced imaging techniques, specifically Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), combined with artificial intelligence, to see if they can provide similar information without needing a surgical biopsy.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have had previous imaging that suggests you might have a glioma. It’s important that you can give informed consent, meaning you understand the trial and agree to participate. If you qualify and join the study, you can expect to undergo MRI scans that will help researchers evaluate your tumor while they gather data to refine this virtual biopsy technique. This study is currently recruiting participants, and the goal is to improve how gliomas are diagnosed and treated in the future.
