ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding COVID-19 better by examining the characteristics of patients who have the virus. Researchers are collecting information like age, health history, and test results from patients who are hospitalized with COVID-19. The goal is to find out what factors might predict how severe the illness could be, how well patients respond to treatment, and which patients might benefit from specific therapies.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be adults aged 65 and older who are either admitted to the hospital with a confirmed positive test for COVID-19 or have symptoms and imaging results that strongly suggest they have the virus. Patients who are discharged from the emergency department with a positive test result can also participate. There are no exclusions based on other health conditions. If you join the trial, you can expect to help researchers gather valuable information that may improve treatment for others with COVID-19 in the future.
