ClinConnect Summary
The IMMINeNT clinical trial is studying patients with chronic inflammatory diseases such as severe asthma, lupus, and multiple sclerosis. These conditions can greatly affect a person’s quality of life and often require special treatments. The goal of the trial is to create a comprehensive database and biobank that will help researchers find better ways to understand and treat these diseases. By collecting information from patients, the study aims to identify new biomarkers—substances that can indicate how the disease is progressing or how well treatments are working.
To participate in this trial, you need to be receiving care for one of these inflammatory diseases at Lille University Hospital. You should also be able to understand the study requirements and provide written consent. Unfortunately, some individuals, such as pregnant women or those unable to give consent, cannot participate. If you join, you can expect to provide some personal health information and possibly contribute to future advances in treatment for these challenging diseases.
