ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at whether a special computer program can help improve memory and attention in adults who have experienced a traumatic brain injury (TBI). The study will include 25 adults with mild to severe brain injuries who will use the program, while another group of 25 adults with similar injuries will participate in different activities focused on social awareness. Researchers will evaluate how well both groups perform in memory and attention tasks before starting the training, right after completing it, and again one month later.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be over 18 years old and have a medically documented TBI that occurred at least three months ago. They should not have certain mental health conditions, like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, and must not be currently abusing drugs or alcohol. This study is currently recruiting participants, and anyone interested in joining should be prepared to take part in assessments and training activities to see if the cognitive program can help improve their brain function.
