ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how certain treatments, like the flu vaccine and specific blood pressure medications (ACE inhibitors and ARBs), might help improve the health of patients who have COVID-19. Researchers want to find out if people who have received the flu vaccine or are already taking these medications before getting COVID-19 have better outcomes compared to those who haven’t. They are also looking at other treatments, like antihistamines and amantadine, which have shown positive results in some patients.
To participate in this study, you need to be someone who was admitted to the Hospital of Terrassa for any reason since March 1, 2020. There are no specific exclusion criteria, meaning almost anyone who meets this admission requirement can join. If you decide to participate, you can expect to contribute to important research that may help improve treatment for COVID-19. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and your involvement could play a crucial role in understanding how these medications and vaccinations affect COVID-19 outcomes.
