ClinConnect Summary
The "Pace conduct" study is looking at different methods of pacing the heart to see how well they work and how safe they are for patients who need a pacemaker or an implantable cardiac defibrillator (ICD). Right now, many patients receive traditional pacing, which can lead to problems with how the heart beats together. This trial is exploring newer techniques that aim to help the heart pump more effectively by keeping the heart's natural rhythm.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and be getting a pacemaker or ICD to help prevent issues caused by the traditional pacing methods. The study is currently recruiting patients, so if you or a loved one is eligible, you can expect to have your progress monitored closely to ensure your safety and the effectiveness of the new pacing techniques. It’s important to know that participants need to give their consent and be willing to provide follow-up information after the procedure.
