ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how lifestyle changes, along with medical and surgical treatments, can help people with obesity. It aims to track the health of patients who visit the endocrinology clinic at Marmara University Medical School Hospital over a period of five years. The researchers will look at various health markers and laboratory tests to understand how these changes affect weight and overall health.
To participate in this study, individuals must be between 18 and 65 years old and have a body mass index (BMI) over 30, which indicates obesity. However, people who are currently pregnant, have active cancer, or suffer from certain chronic inflammatory diseases cannot join the study. Those who do participate can expect regular check-ups and assessments over the five years, which will help doctors learn more about effective ways to manage obesity. This trial is currently open for recruitment, welcoming all genders and diverse backgrounds.
