ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "Mitochondria Energy," is exploring how daily activities, behaviors, and fitness levels impact the health of blood cells in school-age children. Specifically, it looks at how these factors affect the mitochondria, which are tiny structures in our cells that produce energy and are crucial for overall health. The study aims to understand the links between how active children are and the condition of their blood cells, which could help improve their overall health.
The trial is currently looking for children aged 8 to 10 years old, regardless of gender or background. However, some children may not be eligible to participate if they have certain medical conditions, such as severe asthma, diabetes, or mental health disorders. If selected, participants will engage in activities and provide information about their daily routines, helping researchers learn more about the connection between exercise and blood cell health. This study could provide valuable insights into how to promote better health in children.
