ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a special type of rehabilitation called blood flow restriction training after meniscus surgery. The goal is to see if this training helps patients recover better compared to standard rehabilitation methods. Meniscus surgery is often needed for injuries to the cartilage in the knee, and this trial aims to improve recovery outcomes for those who have had this surgery.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should be planning to have arthroscopic meniscus repair surgery. However, those who are having other surgeries at the same time or have certain health conditions, like diabetes or vascular disease, cannot participate. If you join the trial, you will be randomly assigned to either the blood flow restriction training group or the standard rehab group and will follow a specific recovery plan. This study is currently looking for participants, and it’s a great opportunity to help improve recovery methods for knee injuries.
