ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how well a smartwatch can detect heart problems, specifically cardiac arrhythmias and conduction disorders, in patients with existing cardiovascular diseases. The researchers want to see if the information collected by the smartwatch matches the results from traditional heart tests known as electrocardiograms (ECGs). The goal is to find out if using smartwatches can help doctors diagnose heart issues earlier, which could lead to better health outcomes for patients.
To participate in the trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have one or more heart-related conditions, such as high blood pressure, heart failure, or a history of heart attacks. The study will involve about 110 participants, and you'll be asked to wear the smartwatch while also undergoing a standard ECG. This will help researchers compare the results from both methods. If you decide to join, you can expect to have your heart activity monitored and contribute to important research that could improve heart health detection in the future.
