ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how the shoulder blade, or scapula, is positioned when standing compared to when lying down. Researchers want to understand these positions better for people with shoulder arthritis, which can cause pain and limit movement. They will use a special portable ultrasound system that combines a probe and a camera to see the scapula's position in three dimensions without using any radiation.
To join this study, participants need to be adults aged 36 to 159 years who are planning to have a specific type of shoulder surgery called reverse shoulder arthroplasty. They must also be able to provide informed consent, meaning they understand the study and agree to take part. If you participate, you will help researchers gather important information that could improve treatment for shoulder conditions. It's a chance to contribute to medical knowledge while receiving care for your shoulder issues.
