ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a special program called the modified Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-Up (mABC) Intervention. It aims to help mothers who are pregnant and dealing with opioid dependence, which means they are struggling with using opioids but are receiving treatment to manage it. The researchers believe that this program will help these mothers become more nurturing and responsive to their babies. They also expect that babies whose mothers participate in this program will have better emotional and behavioral development compared to those whose mothers receive standard care.
To participate in this study, women must be in their third trimester of pregnancy and currently on medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder. There are no other specific exclusions. Participants can expect to engage in activities designed to strengthen their parenting skills and improve their baby’s development. This trial is currently looking for participants, and it’s an opportunity for mothers to receive support during a crucial time in their lives.
