ClinConnect Summary
The SPARK trial is a study designed to see how working with a Community Health Worker (CHW) can help people living in poverty improve their financial situation. The goal is to find out if connecting with a CHW, who is part of a healthcare team, can lead to an increase in income over a six-month period. This study is important because it aims to address not just health needs, but also social and economic factors that can affect a person's well-being.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old, live in a household with an income below a certain low-income level, and agree to receive help with your social needs. If you have worked with a similar Community Health Worker in the past year, you would not be eligible to join. Participants can expect to receive support and resources tailored to their specific needs, which could help improve their overall quality of life. This trial is currently not recruiting participants, but it aims to make a positive impact on the lives of those struggling financially.
