ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new, quicker way to perform cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) scans, which are tests that help doctors see how well your heart is working. The goal is to find better techniques that can improve the quality of these scans, especially for patients with heart conditions like coronary artery disease or cardiomyopathy. The study is currently looking for participants, including healthy volunteers and patients who need a CMR exam.
To participate, you need to be over 18 years old and able to give consent. Healthy volunteers must not have any significant medical conditions affecting the heart or lungs. Patients should have a clinical reason for needing a CMR exam. However, some people may not be eligible if they have certain medical devices (like pacemakers), have consumed caffeine or nicotine recently, or are taking specific medications. If you join the study, you'll experience a new, 10-minute scanning process, and your participation can help improve heart care for others in the future.
