ClinConnect Summary
The Giessen Pulmonary Hypertension in Lung Cancer Registry is a study designed to understand how common pulmonary hypertension (a condition where the blood pressure in the lungs is high) is among patients with lung cancer. Researchers will gather information from lung cancer patients treated at the University Hospital Giessen to see if pulmonary hypertension is a condition they might also have. Importantly, there will be no new treatments or interventions; the study will simply collect and analyze data based on the standard care these patients receive.
To participate in this study, you need to be a patient with lung cancer at the University of Giessen Lung Cancer Center. This trial is open to all genders and is currently recruiting participants aged between 65 and 74 years. If you join, you can expect to provide some health information, which will help researchers better understand the relationship between lung cancer and pulmonary hypertension. This study is important as it aims to create a comprehensive registry that can inform future care for lung cancer patients.
